Terms & Conditions
Everything you need to know about booking a job with JustFix.
These terms govern your use of justfix.co.uk and the JustFix app, and apply whenever you book a job through JustFix. By using our services, you’re agreeing to these terms — if you don’t agree, please don’t use them. “JustFix” (or “Just Fix”) refers to JustFix 24/7 Ltd; a “Fixer” is the tradesperson or engineer carrying out your job; “you” or “Customer” refers to the person booking the job.
Booking and site visits
Your assigned Fixer will carry out a safety assessment on arrival and needs reasonable access to the work area. If access isn’t available or the job needs to be rescheduled, we’ll be in touch to arrange a new time. A call-out fee of £50 + VAT applies to each visit, and is non-refundable except where JustFix is unable to fulfil the booking.
Where extra time or materials are needed beyond the original scope, we’ll let you know the additional cost before proceeding. Cancellation charges may apply (see our Cancellation Policy), and payment is handled securely through our platform. If you’re a tenant or leaseholder, you’re responsible for getting any necessary landlord or freeholder approval before work begins.
We ask that you give an accurate description of the job when booking, treat your Fixer courteously, and be aware that both customers and Fixers may be asked to rate each other after the job. Your personal data is handled in line with the Data Protection Act 2018 — see our Privacy Policy.
Internet-connected devices
If your Fixer needs access to an internet-connected device or account as part of the job (for example a smart heating control), any login details you share are used only for that purpose and are not retained afterwards.
Work quality and our guarantee
For jobs booked and paid for through JustFix, we guarantee the quality of the workmanship for 12 months from the date of payment. If something’s not right with the work in that time, let us know as soon as possible and we’ll put it right. Claims under the guarantee are subject to a limit of £1,000 per claim; faulty parts are covered separately under the relevant manufacturer’s warranty.
Health, safety and conduct
For everyone’s safety, you may be asked to keep a safe distance from the work area while a job is underway. We don’t tolerate abusive behaviour towards our Fixers or staff, and a serious breach of this may result in exclusion from using JustFix.
General terms
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and cover matters including how disputes are handled, confidentiality, ownership of equipment left on site, the use of digital signatures, currency and notices, our ability to use photos of completed work for advertising, the identity and vetting of Fixers, suspension or termination of access to JustFix, missed appointments, and how these terms may be amended over time.
